According to a TechCrunch survey, women account for only 7% of partners at top VC companies. Fidelity, however, discovered that female investors beat males by 0.4% in the previous year. One promising female investor is Masha Drokova, formerly a public relations studio leader. She has launched Day One Ventures and raised two funds to date. Drokova has extensive expertise in the public relations field, having worked with firms such as Houzz, HotelTonight, Gett, Toptal, and others. Drokova has also worked with Acronis as a vice president of communications, where she was in charge of media and analyst interactions in dozens of countries.
